    We address a critical need in the Kingston health sciences community and beyond—providing specialized support for clinical trials in areas often underserved by established research networks. Our focus is on enabling investigators in to contribute to groundbreaking medical advancements without being constrained by a lack of resources or administrative challenges.

    Operating on a cost-recovery model, Limestone CTU minimizes overhead while delivering tailored solutions that streamline trial execution. From staffing and regulatory support to data management and patient recruitment, we offer a comprehensive range of services that ensure trials are conducted efficiently and effectively.

    Our founders, Dr. Ramana Appireddy and Dr. Chandana Gajjala, bring extensive experience in clinical research and a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by investigators locally. With their leadership, we have become a trusted partner for healthcare providers, pharmaceutical sponsors, and academic researchers who are committed to driving innovation and improving patient outcomes.

  • Chandana Gajjala is an MD and has additional training in applied clinical research from McMaster University. She has experience working as a clinical trials coordinator. She will be leading the clinical trials unit.

    Ramana Appireddy is a neurologist with multiple years of experiencing participating in clinical trials and established the stroke clinical trials program at Queen's University. He will be the clinical lead for the CTU to support its operations.
